Roundtable 1: Protecting the Homeland: A layered defense.

Golden Dome has evolved rapidly since last year's roundtable — what's advanced, what's stalled, and why the layered defense imperative is more critical than ever. The threat environment is accelerating. The architecture must keep pace.

  • Architecture priorities: Which layer matters most — boost, midcourse, or terminal?
  • Space-based sensors: What’s technically feasible vs. politically achievable?
  • Golden Dome and allies: How do international partnerships fit into a “homeland” defense frame?
  • Industrial base: Can the supply chain scale fast enough to meet the $70B mandate?
  • AI and autonomous systems in missile defense: Asset or liability?
  • Defending the defenders: How do we protect the space assets that enable the layered defense?

Roundtable 2: Beyond ISS: The future of habitation, manufacturing and scientific discovery in LEO

NASA’s commercial LEO pivot has hit turbulence — what changed, what held, and why the opportunity is arguably bigger and more urgent than before. ISS retires in 2030. The clock is running.

  • Who pays? Business models for commercial stations that actually work
  • Manufacturing in orbit: Which industries are ready to go first — pharma, materials, chips?
  • Power and propulsion: What infrastructure is needed and who builds it?
  • Maintaining U.S. leadership: How do we stay ahead of China’s Tiangong program?
  • The NASA role after ISS: Partner, customer, or bystander?
  • Talent and supply chain: Does the industry have the workforce to execute?

Please note that by signing up for this roundtable, you are agreeing to actively participate in the discussion. This format is not a panel presentation; it requires full engagement from all attendees. You will be expected to:

  • Share your insights and contribute to the conversation.
  • Collaborate with others by exchanging ideas and perspectives.
  • Be prepared to ask questions and offer solutions related to the topic.

Your active involvement is essential to the success of the roundtable. Thank you for committing to this interactive and collaborative experience!
